We pray for those who serve in the military...

In support of those serving our community by serving our country, we will be creating a Wall of Remembrance for all men and women that we know, who are currently serving in the military. Read More
We enjoy our freedom because of those valiant and corageous people who are serving around the world in our military forces. To honor our veterans and those presently serving in the military, the St. Mary Magdalene Parish Community is partnering with the USO and the Military Pride store in Wickliffe, to send items most needed to our military in Iraq, Iran, Afghanistan and other military areas across the planet. Click the link below for complete details and a list of needed items. Please remember our military in your prayers! Read More

Veterans Appreciation Day
Charles Stennis wanted all veterans to just take five minutes out of their day on Friday to reflect.

“Do me a favor,” said the post commander of American Legion Post 336 in Painesville, speaking to hundreds of veterans at the third annual Veterans Appreciation Day. “I’m going to ask you to take five minutes to discuss something with another veteran that you haven’t seen for a while.

“Take five minutes to ask that question that has been worrying you for a while. Take five minutes to reflect on this day and how special it is. Take five minutes to reflect on your time in the military and all of the friendships that you’ve had while you served. “I’m just asking you to take five minutes.”
