The Stewardship Committee has had an agressive agenda this past year.  We have formed several sub-committees that will accomplish the varied tasks of the parish. Many of the groups involve evangelization and welcoming:  Newsletter, Website, Education, Mission, and Hospitality.  We want to encourage our whole parish to adopt the Stewardship Way of Life.  That is to accept that God is the giver of all good things.  We want our parish to be actively engaged in the various ministries.  When we serve each other, we are serving the Lord.  We serve God and return to God the time, talents, and treasures that through God's abundant grace God has given to us.  Through God's grace we learn that the desire to serve is itself a gift from God. Recently the Stewardship Committee has worked towards implementing a stewardship commitment from all parishioners.  we grow in our faith through reflection of the Gospel and through other stewardship resources.  We desire a vibrant parish where we worship, give thanks, and share the Good News of the life, death and resurrection of our Lord, Jesus Christ.  We want St. Mary Magdalene Parish to be a place where all are welcomed, cared for and dearly loved!

On behalf of the Stewardship Committee,
Ann Abraham
Stewardship Chairperson

Stewardship Mission Statement

The Stewardship Committee seeks to infuse the practice of stewardship into the life of the parish and to assist members of the St. Mary Magdalene Parish Community to recognize and contribute their God given gifts of time, talent and treasure.  The committee works to inform parishioners of their varied opportunities to share their gifts for the fulfilment of their own spiritual needs and those of the parish and to further build up the kingdom of God.

Stewardship Prayer

Oh, Lord, giver of life and source of our freedom, we are reminded by the Psalmist
that Yours is "the earth and its fullness; the world and those who dwell in it."
We know that it is from your hand that we have received all we have and are and will be.
Gracious and loving God, we understand that you call us to be the stewards of
your abundance, the caretakers of all you have entrusted to us.
Help us always to use your gifts wisely and teach us to share them generously.
May our faithful stewardship bear witness to the one love of Christ in our lives.
We pray with grateful hearts, in Jesus' name. Amen.
