Weddings are sacred, wonderful celebrations where the love a couple privately shares is affirmed and supported by their family and our whole community. Engaged couples should contact their presider (priest or deacon) prior to finalizing their wedding date.

In the Nuptial Blessing, we pray:

“O God, who by your mighty power created all things out of nothing, and, when you had set in place the beginnings of the universe, formed man and woman in your own image, making the woman an inseparable helpmate to the man, that they might no longer be two, but one flesh, and taught that what you were pleased to make one must never be divided…”

St. Mary Magdalene's Director of Liturgy and Music is Mary Hrich, who will help with the planning process. Click the links below for useful references.

Evangelization is God's work accomplished through each one of us.  Welcoming new people to the Catholic faith through the Sacraments of Baptism, Confirmation and Eucharist is a vital part of our role as Christians.   The gift of our faith is one that must be shared with others.   Faith is contagious and can be caught by the way we live our lives.  When you hear of someone who is interested in becoming Catholic, welcome them and invite them to become a part of our parish...

Our sacramental life is our lifeline to God.  We are refreshed in the waters as we enter church and remember our own Baptism.  The oils of confirmation remain as a seal of God's love for us.  Eucharist, the Bread of Life nourishes us week after week. We are so blessed and so need to pass this great gift on to others.  Evangelization is our way of spreading the Good News of Jesus.
