Celebrating Ministries "Celebrating ministries provide opportunities for the community to respond to God’s love in our sacramental life, especially through our full and active celebration of Eucharist which sends us forth to love and serve."
Liturgical Minister Schedule Beginning with the schedule period starting the First Sunday of Advent, we are now using Ministry Scheduler Pro (MSP) to schedule liturgical mnisters. Worship Commission The Worship Commission assists the Parish Pastoral Council by developing pastoral plans and policies in the area of worship.
Liturgical Coordinators Liturgical coordinators are adults responsible to oversee the immediate preparations prior to weekend liturgies. Coordinators are needed for each of the weekend masses.			Sacristan Sacristans prepare the necessary items such as readings, incense, and sacred vessels before Mass for the worshipping community. This ministry is performed before and after Eucharistic Liturgies.
Lectors Word Ministers serve the community through the proclamation of scripture by taking time to prayerfully prepare prior to the liturgical celebration. Lector Procedures			Eucharistic Ministers Eucharistic Ministers serve the community in the distribution of Eucharist at liturgies and by taking Eucharist to the sick within the parish community. Servers Altar Servers assist the Presider at liturgical celebrations. Fifth grade through adults are welcomed. Altar Server Manual			Funeral Servers Assists for presider at funeral liturgies. Training is required. Adults are eligible.
CLOW Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW) is held during 9:00 AM and 11:30 AM Mass. Children are dismissed to hear God's word in language that they can understand and return to the liturgy for Eucharist.			Babysitting St. Mary Magdalene's Sunday Babysitting service is committed to offering the parents of children between the ages of 18 months and five years of age from the parish community the option of allowing their child(ren) to be cared for in a safe, loving environment during the 9:00 and 11:30 AM Mass times.
Ushers Assists in the seating worhsippers, taking up collections, straighten up at the conclusion of mass, and on occasion perform other tasks.
Liturgical Ministry Retreat Thank you to the Worship Commission for organizing our annual Liturgical Ministers Retreat. It was a day of prayer, learning, fellowship, and inspiration. We are grateful to Fr. Dan Schlegel, Mary Lou Beers, and Mary Hrich, for sharing their faith with us. It is good to spend time with fellow ministers, confident that All is Brought to Life in Jesus!
