Mass of the Lord's Supper - Holy Thursday
April 5 @ 7pm
We celebrate Jesus command to serve one another through the action of the Footwashing.
All are invited to wash and be washed.
Celebration of the Lord's Passion - Good Friday
April 6 @ 3pm
This solemn service begins with prostration of the ministers before the altar. Both the assembly and the ministers are encouraged to venerate the cross, by a simple genuflection, a kiss or some other appropriate sign of reverence. This service is not a mass, but does include Holy Communion, using Blessed Sacrament reserved from the Mass of the Lord's Supper on Holy Thursday.
Blessing of Easter Baskets - Holy Saturday
April 7 @ 3pm
Deacon Carl will bless any food brought to the church, to be used for your Easter meal.
Easter Vigil Mass - Holy Saturday
April 7 @ 9:15pm
This most holy and greatest Feast of our Liturgical year celebrates both the Resurrection of Christ and the full initiation of new members into the Christian Community. We begin with the Easter Fire outside on the Vine St. side of the church and continue with a solemn procession into the church. We continue with the beautiful Easter Proclamation before all are invited to listen to the Word proclaimed and preached. Following the Liturgy of the Word, we celebrate the Baptism and Confirmation of those joining the Christian Community.Together we join with them in the Liturgy of the Eucharist as they celebrate with the community for the first time.
