Children's Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
CLOW
CLOW is held during the 9:00 AM Eucharistic Liturgy. CLOW is the acronym we use for our Sunday Morning “Children’s Liturgy of the Word”. CLOW is for all grade school children. During the mass, children are dismissed to Room 105, which is decorated for the liturgical season so that it resembles the church, to hear the Sunday readings adapted for children. The children are then guided to respond as they are able to a series of questions that are designed to get at the “heart” of the readings. The children also participate in the prayers of the faithful and the creed. No registration is required. If children would like to participate in Children's Liturgy of the Word, they just come forward when the priest calls them. Parents are welcome to be a guest and observe CLOW at any time. If you would like to volunteer for Children's Liturgy of the Word or if you have any questions, please feel free to contact Laurie Jurecki.
